We had breakfast at Skeppsbro Bageri down by the waterfront. The view was great. The gluten-free options were a bit limited so Alex had yoghurt and Ian had eggs and caviar...yum!

After breakfast we walked a bit and explored before getting a tram to the open air museum Skansen!. This area of the city is chock-a-block with museums, quaint tea houses and restaurants and the amusement park, which looks terrifying and awesome in equal measure.
Skansen is expensive (€20 entrance fee + €20 to see the animals at the start). In the other parts of the park to see the animals is free. There were bison, seals, lynx, brown bears, wolverines, plenty to see.

The clown fish were particularly cool. Alex also got to pet a python and touch a tarantula.
We missed the 1st tram out to Skansen, which was a new type one and fortunately the one we did catch was 99 yrs old. It was a thing of pure beauty.

After a long day of walking we had dinner at "C & C restaurant". The ambience was quite plain but nice. Alex had reindeer steak with a cheese sauce and Ian had Elk with mushroom sauce. Roughly €130, so not cheap!.
Alex has crashed while Ian updates the blog on the phone (the computer is not playing ball).
Thank you
Takk
