We went to PiliesKepyklele for breakfast (a place recommend by our host Rokas). It has a very nice aesthetic like an English tea houe. Ian had the mushroom omelette and Alex had fried eggs and bacon, though after a large bowl of porridge in the apartment this proved too much.

We then went for a wander and came to the "gates of dawn" (a pilgrimage site).

The previous day we'd tried to figure out how the Cyclocity bike rental system worked, but there was a problem with Dad's bank card payment.
Today it worked and so we rented two bikes near the gates of dawn. We thought these were electric bikes, they weren't.
We cycled quite a distance (mostly uphill) to a Harley Davidson shop/museum. It was more shop than museum. All we could have afforded in the shop was a Harley Davidson T-shirt, but we didn't want to add to our travel weight so we gave it a miss.

Next we cycled (again uphill) to a Car museum that was recommended by Rokas. This surpassed both our expectations. The way the exhibit plotted the history of car development was excellent and the restoration and display of the cars themselves was awesome.

By the time we'd gotten back to the city (mostly downhill by this point), we'd been on the bikes 4hrs. We did stop for a virgin long island ice tea and a beer on the way.

For dinner we went to Grey, a restaurant recommend to us. We ordered the shared starter and were very impressed by the quantity, variety and quality, so much so we couldn't even finish it. Just look at it!!

Alex had the duck for main course and Ian had the steak. Again we were both super impressed.

Thereafter we retired back to the apartment and watched point break (the original with Keanu Reeves) on the computer (I am an FBI agent!!!!) - awesome movie.
