Day 14: Vilnius to Vienna

Woke up and Alex had breakfast, while Ian packed up everything for our next move and tidied the appartment.

The flights to Vienna was at 13:30 and so we left the apartment at 11:00. Before leaving we went to PiliesKepyklele again and Ian had the mushroom omelette again.

When we went to board the plane our boarding passes wouldn't register and the flight attendant said there had been a problem with our luggage at the check-in. She wanted to send us back through security, which would probably have caused us to miss the flight, but in the end they sorted it out and let us through. Bit late telling somebody there's a problem with their luggage when they're trying to board, thanks air Austria!.

We arrived in Austria a little after 14:00 because we gained an hour with the time zone change. The travel from the airport was a little bit complex (took the ÖBB to Wein Midde, but went too far and had to double back. From there we took the U3 to our hotel), but we figured it out in the end and by the time we arrived at the hotel it was close to 16:00.

A review I saw of the hotel (pension Neuermarkt) described it as down to Earth.,..no argument here.

We are very centrally located and took a walk after dropping the bags at the hotel.

Near the Opera house, we had a hotdog thingy (würst) that was infused with a cheese sauce. Alex ate all his, but Ian dumped the sausage and ate only the bread🤮.

After that we had dinner in an Indian restaurant outside on their terrace. Alex had mago Chicken and Ian had lamb biryani. Both were good.

Back to the hotel and we're trying to figure out what is Ian's Patronus (whatever that is) via an online test. Apparently I don't have a Patronus, because I am not "pure of heart". Damn!, this site is good.
